What We Do

The Agency for the Welfare of Asylum Seekers (AWAS) implements national legislation and policy for refugees, persons with international protection, and asylum seekers. AWAS manage reception facilities in compliance with the Reception Conditions Directive (RCD) provides information programs, promotes government schemes, facilitates services and encourages networking.
