The Multi-skilled Fitter will be responsible:
- To perform minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment
- The maintenance, management and installation of sanitary appliances including the soil and waste connections.
- Repair of leaks, repair and replacement of toilets & flushing’s, replacement of hot water heaters, replacement of showerheads or hoses, unblocking of waste traps, toilets, gutters, rainwater pipes and any other plumbing work where needed.
- Changing lamps, cleaning light fittings, changing appliances plugs, replacing fuses and install new electrical installations with a qualified person.
- Working on steel work with a qualified person.
- Replacing small areas of tiles.
- Plastering & painting.
- Carpentry & Gypsum works.
- Handling of heavy materials and a requirement to work at different height levels when necessary.
- To perform preventive maintenance procedures.
- To complete checklists and maintenance records.
- To respond to emergency maintenance requirements.
- To perform a wide variety of general and semi-skilled activities.
- To ensure and follow health and safety procedures.
- To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time by the Administrator (Maintenance)/Agency Management
This job description may vary from time to time according to the exigencies of the Agency.
The minimum Requirements are:
- 3 Years Experience in General Maintenance
- Driving License
Salary:
The salary for the post of Multi Skilled Fitter in the year 2025 is equivalent to €19,159.00 per annum.
